From far away,
everything looks perfect
the persistence of my mind
making me soo imperfect,
and yet you don't care
you say my track record isn't half as bad
and that what I still have
means allot
you respect me
and don't judge based on lies.
you said I should'nt be so judgmental to myself

just getting out there after three years.
your caring.
and you really mean it
its not BS
its not tricks
your true
and I see that
I can see you for you
not who you are when your with your friends
but you
one who keeps family tight
and fans tighter
you have many,
never knowing.
who you really can be
a person who moves those around them
my smile I show now
is because of your truth
the way you show it for what it is
is courageous, not many can
tell the truth
and still be seen for the real man they are.
Wishing I had a figure like you
to keep me safe
because I need that person in my life
cause they know nothing about me.

one that will stay with me forever
