![]() Plus Sized LoveA Poem by Raymond A. Hiraldo
It doesn’t matter if your weight is two hundred pounds
I’d still walk with you through the park listening to nature’s sweet sounds And if you decide to stay home because you’re depressed and feeling blue Then I’d take you out and make you see that there is nothing wrong with you In the summer you might trip and fall down with a thud Baby I’d still hug you even if you just fell in mud I want to let you know that life isn’t always about your weight, sex, or lust It is more important that I have someone I can love, honor, and trust I know sometimes you wish you could look like a sex magazine’s cover model But looks are only temporary so they you should not idol You wish you could look like them because they have sex appeal I love your body sweetheart because I know all your parts are real The prettiest person doesn’t always look great from the outside A beautiful person is the one that never allows their heart to hide People look at you and it’s like you’re the biggest girl they have ever seen Don’t let that bother you sweetie because to me you are a queen The only concerns I have are the health conditions that may arise But that is the only thing I don’t like of your plus size Your body is so warm when you sleep with me at night And your hugs are so inviting because you wrap around me tight You’d think I’d love you more if your body was real slender Size has nothing to do with love that is always warm and tender You complain that some things don’t fit, and becoming thin is all you think of I know something that will always fit you, and it is my plus sized love © 2010 Raymond A.
