Remorse

I found a peace through a depressed time. Love poem.

As I gaze at the stars my mind travels farther than Venus or Mars, 
Searching for a world that can bring back this girl, 
I say this girl because I live in the past,
Because of her I'd treat my next like shes my last,
Deep down I know that if she'd say yes that I would grasp her hand so tight with all my might, 
But the way I let things go I know that's just  not right,
Reminiscent of the way you would look into my eyes my feelings ignite burn,
Yea I know Lifes a lesson and you have to learn,
I just wish I knew,
Nothing can make me feel sadder than to know the way I hurt you,
I just remember when I broke the news to you and how your lips started to quiver, 
I Froze up and now not even the emptiness of space could make me shiver.
