![]() Chapter 6A Chapter by Rawiya Scarlett"Is it weird that I'm attracted or a bit turned on by Void Stiles?" Stacey asked as we were watching Teen Wolf. "Nah it's not weird because I feel the same way, I mean I know that he hot when he's just his normal self but knowing that he could be evil or just bad is really sexy and a definite turn on," I told her while pausing the show so I could look at his evil smirk. Damn Dylan, Why are you so hot? "Okay, can we please stop eye raping the guy and just watch the show," Raiden pleaded while taking the remote from me to continue the show. "We're not eye raping Dylan, we're just appreciating the fact that he's a really good actor and very yummy looking," I said. "Alright, I think that's enough Teen Wolf, for now, I don't like the look you're getting in your eyes," Raiden said turning off the television. "What kind of look?" I asked facing him. "The I really want to jump your bones look," He said his mouth turned down in a frown. "Are you jealous that Kris is giving Stiles more love than you Raiden?" Stacey asked while smirking at him. "Haha no, it's just really uncomfortable to watch her lust after some fictional character," He said before walking into the kitchen. I got up and followed him, "Hey I'm sorry, I became a bit okay maybe a huge fangirl over Dylan, he's just a really good actor that's also good looking," I said as I took out some ingredients to make dinner. "Sweetheart we're home," I heard my mom say as she walked in with dad and Teague. Okay to explain, yes my parents did die three years ago and I do live with my aunt, uncle and younger brother. So it took me a while to get accustomed to not seeing my parent and I would accidentally call my aunt and uncle, mom and dad respectively. I always apologized whenever I made that mistake and it didn't help that it happened more than often. I had a talk with them asking them if it's okay to call them mom and dad. I don't know if that healthy or not but it helped me a lot in coping with my real parents' death. They were surprised but after some time, they agreed to it so I call them that. Another reason why they agreed is that they were never able to have children, it was heartbreaking for them not being able to have kids of their own but they love Teague and me as their own so I decided that it would show how much I appreciated them. "Hey Mom, Dad, Teague, I was just about to start making dinner, oh and our guests are here, this is Raiden," I told them as they walked into the kitchen. My mom smiled at Raiden, "Hello Raiden, it's nice to see you again." "You too Mrs. Clark," He told her returning her smile. "Oh Raiden, none of that, call me Emily and you remember my husband Winston and of course Teague," she told him while gesturing to them. "Yes, I do," He replied moving on to shake my dad's hand and hug Teague. Stacey walked in with Cindy in tow, she must have heard mom talking and decided to bring Cindy in for introductions. "Hey Emily, this is Cindy, Raiden's younger sister," Stacey gave Cindy a push towards mom. I chuckled as she fought to keep her ground and not fall. I tuned them out continuing to cut up the tomatoes and other vegetables for my homemade salsa. I'm gonna make spaghetti and meatballs, it's Raiden's favourite actually. "Do you need any help?" I turned to see him coming closer. "No, no I don't need any help, you're a guest here and Stacey said that she would help me," I told him. "I did?" I glared at her, " I mean yes, I told her that I would help, now shoo, we have a lot to do," she told him and everyone else. "Okay, we'll take this to the living room and I'll get started on setting the table," Mom said, she pulled Raiden by his arm leading him out. "Thanks, mom," I told her, however, I was confused when Raiden stared at her then at me with a puzzled look. Looks like I need to tell him why I called her mom. ............................................................................................................................................................... "Okay mom," I told her while closing my literature book and resting it on my bedside table. "Night mom," I said while turning off my lamp. "Goodnight Kris," she said and closed my door. I looked up at the ceiling, today was very eventful, I asked Luke out, got my best friends back and saw my ex-boyfriend again. I turned to my side seeing the photo that I had of my family, even though it was dark I remembered the picture and the day we took it vividly. It was Teague's first birthday and we didn't want to have a huge party so we just invited some friends and relatives, it was both a happy and sad day. I got to see some relatives like Rae and her dad and enjoy a fun filled day but it was also the day that Raiden and I had our fight, the day that we stopped being friends. It happened after we took this picture. I set the photo down turning back to face the ceiling, a lot has changed in three years, my life has somewhat gotten back to normal. I really hoped that it stayed this way, that I would have a normal senior year but sometimes life doesn't go the way you plan. © 2019 Rawiya ScarlettAuthor's Note
