The Wounds' Hymn

The Wounds' Hymn

A Poem by Rawan Hdaib
"

Not a full poem, but more like a poetic flash... Squeezing the idea in a few lines hymn. This is how my heart often speaks; few words, though thousands of sensations in a blink of an eye...

"
Oh! My wounds, mercy on me
Oh! My soft weak heart, be free !

Destiny, you forced my way
For your choice what shall I pay?

I chose my path, dressed to die
Walk with me or pass me by !

Oh! My wounds, mercy on me
Oh! My soft weak heart be free !
