There's just me

There's just me

A Poem by Ravynblue
"

pain & sorrow

"

There’s just me

there’s just me

today is not my day

my life is no longer my life

my thoughts are racing

my vices are the trail and track

my thoughts are dark as the lonely playground with no park

my heartbeat slows

my vessels grow cold though the screams shout back like the child that was never told

i sleep yet not dream upon the days wake

when times acknowledge the ease oblivion covets the heat with bake

come what may allow none that shall

don’t you wish to stay harrowing one that steals the cowards cowl

ill drag you down whisper to the assembly that my hand neglected to create

descend from my towering sorrow dare to tread with hate

ill shall not harm or fight

nor will i frighten or bite

tiptoe lightly demons mock the pleas of the freaks canary black plite

monsters never die sink swiftly as i rise

threaten our sanity with dysfunction and rye

inside remains out distance your lie with the bullet that is decadence

fencing the animal sideways until it ravages our caged beast

wonder yon and forth those of great compassion never weep

there’s only me us and thee my dying flesh is your feast.

Reviews

watch out for uncapitalized i and missing apostrophes especially for possessives.
I don't understand "with bake"
plite should probably be plight

Favorite Lines
-the child that was never told
-descend from my towering sorrow
- our caged beast

An interesting write that I'm sure means more than I initially understand.
