Jigsaw

A Poem by Catrin Gold

Fit them together,
pieces of a dream,
broken and shattered
on your doorstep.
A puzzle built on wishes,
melting in the rain.
Hopes in disguise
will soon realize
you cannot force a change.
When the sun
shall shine again,
it's then I'll come to you.

I like the overall feeling of this, but I can't quite put my finger on "you cannot force a change".
