Where hath thy love fled?

Where hath thy love fled?

A Poem by Ravendust
"

Yet another poem in old[er] English. I really do enjoy it. Title's kind of self explanatory in my opinion. It's one of my longer poems to be honest.

"

Where hath thy love fled?
I feel such sorrow,
I feel such loneliness,
I’m so lost without thee,
And yet thee continue on thy path of life,
As if we had never met,

Where hath thy love fled?
I once felt so accepted by thee,
There was happiness,
There was excitement,
I feel so alone,
My heart is breaking,

Where hath thy love fled?
What is a secret,
That told unto thou,
Would vanquish thy words,
And crush mine heart to dust,

Where hath thy love fled?
Such tears find their way out,
As much as I struggle to go on,
I feel as though the path falters,
It shifts and sends me reeling,

Where hath thy love fled?
Why am I so alone,
When once we laughed and cried together,
When once thou taught me what life meant,
I wish only for thy happiness,

Where hath thy love fled?
Am I such a disappointment to thee,
Such that I am unworthy,
Such that I am no longer,
Able to feel thy light shining,

Where hath thy love fled?
Am I disowned unto thee,
For how I live my life,
Am I such a disappointment,
That thou can’t see past my outer shell,

Where hath thy love fled?
I miss thee,
I love thee,
I only want thee to see me again,
Where is thy compassion,
Where art thou?
