A Poem by Pia Van Ravestein
"

part of the 'cephalopod' series

"

untitled

it curves

      over

                  you

                              burns away

the endless drudgery

you work for linen prints

                  you

love him and can’t have him.

                  you

were orally raped until

                  you

                              vomited blood.

                  you

strike a match          smell sulphur

            dream of better things

                  under your tongue

                  you         know better now.

Very powerful and I like the formatting that seems fitting to the feel of disconnectedness. Good!

Enjoy the day with a smile to share ;-)
