![]() discarding dirtA Poem by Pia Van Ravestein![]() part of the 'coupling' series![]()
discarding dirt i am predator prey, let me wrench your wrist to the wall and push up – just there – run hands across curves and shudder-sigh, once, broken; i haven’t so much hurt you as… if i press my breasts against yours – just there – and slide fingers against that small conundrum of your cleavage i can feel your heartbeat against my flesh, hot counterpoint to my own which is cold. when i let go, i laugh at your little puppy pants and swallow your aching gasp. i walk away. we hate me a little more each time. © 2009 Pia Van Ravestein |
