curves

curves

A Poem by Pia Van Ravestein
"

part of the 'coupling' series

"

(curves)

i follow the seam of your skin                  ( i )

it gleams like snails                           ( hope )

in the sweat of our love.

here on your curves

I forget who I am                               ( to)

madness                                         ( be )

lust in your midnight eyes

i would not hope to be a moon in your sky –     ( The )

concave cravings

and the convex perspective                      ( Moon )

i want it all

taste of ochre                                  ( above )

blood rush

sweat scents                                    ( the )

cotton warmth

here in the spiral shine of your                ( curve )

shell      ( of )

umber

i wait for you.                                 ( you )
