Killing Blow

Killing Blow

A Poem by Raven Malak

Please No CSS

From the dark corners of my mind

This overwhelming feeling takes over

I can’t stop it or control it

What must I do, where must I go

Commanding me

Forcing me

Unwilling to stop

Unwilling to die

Help me stop this I cry

Never ending

Never Stopping

My mind kills me again

Hmm your first two stanzas really drew me in as you created the suffocation of your mindset vividly. I liked the fact that you keep the intenseness with your short lines in the second but I feel like you sort of let your readers down with your closing stanza, I really think you can work on it a little so that you in the end really leave your reader with "the killing blow"

But overall a great piece, liked the concept and the possibilities that lies within this!

Wow! I like this! It's very powerful I can
relate this to feelings that I have
struggled with that are hard not
to give into, no matter how much
I don't want to!
