The Nature of Nature

The Nature of Nature

A Poem by Raven Madd
"

This is a random prose poem I wrote, I have not experimented much with prose, as I prefer the flow of ryhme schemes. The title was inspired by Carl Sagan's speech, "The Inconceivable Nature of Nature"

"

Realize the incredible nature of the universe;

Boundless, like the universe inside your mind

Waiting to be explored for the beauty within,

Containing wonders beyond comprehension.

There are realms beyond what you can see,

And they contain genius and discord alike.

Accessible by those who can accept the fact

That there is something bigger than them,

That they are cosmically insignifigant.

Like a unicellular organism cannot conceptualize

The existence of human beings

Can you conceptualize the vastness of it all?

Can you imagine your own nonexistence?

Look deep within yourself

Look deep, without yourself

For an objective veiw will show you

That life is the universe's will

To observe itself and all contained therein.

So why then, should you choose

Not to take in the wonders around you?
