The Ocean

The Ocean

A Poem by Raven Wyntermoon

The ocean whispered in my ears last night

it traveled by breeze in a stormy flight;

collecting secrets with sandy drips;

caressed my fevered cheeks with tender lips

and bathed me in salty foam; cold finger tips.

soothed my beating heart; sleeping in silence.

blinded the light with dark calm patience.

guided my limp body all through the night

and carried me off into deep silent flight.

I appreciate that though this piece is easy it is not cliche. Very pleasant read :) I.I.
