 Show and Tell

Today is a special day.

It's Show & Tell  at Le Rouge École.

Miss. Morningside spent the night before baking delicious treats.

"A big surprise is inside when you take a bite of this yummy pie..."

The students begin marching in one by one.

Each taking their seats.

Their little hands holding a bag or container.

Little Emily, as perfect as can be, had a box with a bow.

"I brought something that is pretty as me."

Physco Jack, "I have my favorite knife."

Miss. Morningside, "And I hope you had sharpened it right."

Young A.J. Hammer was a little late.

He ran into class and slammed into Agate.

"What the Hex!" Agate hollered.

She dropped her Urn.

"Phew! Pop Pop George didn't spill out."

(He had died choking on sauerkrauts)

Clover walked over to where Miss. Morningside likes to stand.

"Yes little one."

"I have blood on my hands."

"What did you bring for the show?" asked Choking Caroline.

" I brought in a bleeding heart."

Miss. Morningside, "Then, you might as well start since it's Show & Tell time."
