Eternal Dance

Eternal Dance

A Poem by Raven
"

a man who lost his lover to death dances with her spirit to their favorite song

"
Raven's perched on a dead oak tree
Branches naked free from leaves
With chills of winter nips the air
There a gentleman stalks the night
Across the tombstones
Under the moon's eerie light
He always comes in the darkest night
With sounds of music
Soon takes flight
On her grave he begins to dance
Feel her mist, she rises
Reunites
Two lost lovers missed so long
Again once more their eternal dance
Once again she fades away
To her grave of slumber
The gentleman slowly walks away
Back through the dark, humming
The dance of eternal tune.

I can feel the dark bliss of this dance, and how much these two souls were connected in life, and in death. This is flooded with life and love, even in the agony of this loss, in this place of sorrow.
