This is me

This is me

A Poem by Madison

Another one, gone.
It always goes wrong,
But, it’s not my fault??

I’ve been left before,
Over and over,
Why am I not enough; or am I too much??

I’ve been silenced for so long,
So I make you hear me.
I’m in front of you, but invisible,
So I make you see me.

I’ve been forgotten before,
So I make you remember I’m here.
I’ve been ignored so much,
You can’t ignore me now; I’m too loud.

This is me,
I overthink, over love, over feel, and over stress.
My mind is always going,
I’m always awake; even when I’m asleep.

This is me,
I’ve been silent for so long,
But no more, because I am me.

I’m not a liar,
But if I don’t figure this out,
Then I’ll be lying to myself,
And, that’s NOT ME.

About
I'm a somewhat nice person. I tend to be a loner. I like to be by myself. I like to listen to music because it blocks everyone out. I don't like opening up to anyone. Favorite Color: Purple My Hob.. more..
