Rejection and Acceptation (read it if you want but it isn't done yet)(under construction)A Story by SilverA Yaoi story about Matt and Mello from Death Note
He couldn’t keep his eyes off of him. He was irresistible. He could barely restrain himself from telling him about how he felt about him. Mello just sighed and took a bite of his Hershey bar. “Matt?” Mello said softly. Matt wouldn’t listen. He was to busy focusing on the flashing colors of the video game. His fingers were constantly moving back and forth, left to right on the controller. Mello was used to it. Mello moved closer to Matt until they were side by side. He laid his head on Matt’s shoulder. There was a clunk on the floor as Matt stiffened his back. “Uh, Mello? What are you doing?” he asked looking at Mello, with eyes widened. “You’re on the bed…and I was tired so I laid my head on your shoulder,” Mello lied. “Well, could you get off? I’m trying to finish a game,” Matt scolded. Mello’s heart sank as he lifted his head off of Matt’s shoulder. He slowly got off the bed and headed for the door. Matt didn’t notice. He opened the door, before he walked out Mello glanced back over his shoulder to Matt and let out a painful sigh. As Mello was walking down the hallway he bumped into Watari. Watari stepped aside. Mello walked past in a hurry so Watari wouldn’t notice tears were swelling in his eyes. “Mello? Is something wrong?” Watari questioned. Mello started to run, trying to ignore him. Soon the tears were sliding down his cheek like slow flowing waterfall. He hid in the utility closet and curled up into the fetal position. He looked at himself in the reflection of the furnace. “Why am I acting like this?” he asked himself as he straightened up into a sitting position. Soon the door opened. It was the dull colored Near. “What are you doing Mello?” he said twisting his silverish hair, “And why are you crying?” “I just felt like crying, okay?!” Mello yelled. Near shrugged and walked off leaving Mello to be alone again. Mello got up and poked his head around the corner to see if anybody was around. Once he knew the coast was clear he sighed and walked out of the cramped room. He walked into the library. It was abandoned as usual. He pulled out a chair and laid his head on the teak wood table. © 2008 SilverAuthor's Note
