The Depression Battle FieldA Story by Raven GoodpasterOvercoming things is hard, that’s why many people never do.
Every day when you wake up, you can’t control the events that occur, but you can control how you handle them and how you let them affect you and those around you. Depression, at times, feels inevitable. I understand. You can only distract yourself for so long before your feelings catch up to you. At this point, you can either let these demons quickly devour you, or you can look them dead in the eye, and swat them like the minute flys that they are. Just because something seems bigger than life to overcome, doesn’t mean it is.
