Horrid Feels

Horrid Feels

A Poem by Raven Goodpaster
"

A horrid feel.

"

Wallpaper peels, floors crack, windows shatter.  My heart beats faster than a humming bird's wings.  Questions zap through my mind like a lightning bolt on a hot summer night.  Foot steps pound through the Earth.  My life is over.  Memories flash.  I am done.  Then I wake up...
