The Missing Key

The Missing Key

A Poem by Raven Goodpaster
"

The Missing Key is a short poem about finding what is right in front of you.

"

These missing things in my life.  They taunt me.  They feed upon my haggard mind.  Where could they be?  Under a rock?  These greatly missed things, they hide.  Begging me to upturn every grain of sand until we have reunited.    Shall I waste my life in search for this missing key?  So I shall.

Short can be profound. Most people spend their lives looking for the missing thing when all along it was looking through their eyes.
