Lost in Thoughts of Her

Lost in Thoughts of Her

A Poem by Dale
"

Longing for The One

"

Still up.... Pacing around.....

No sound creeping, peeping .....

Wondering abound, wondering of her....

Silence is all I hear....

Wanting, needing of being refreshed.....

By her angelic voice....

To stare deeply in her eyes The gateway to her soul.....

Enhanced..... danced within my own minds eye.....

Such a mystery......

This Yearning, this hunger, Desire

Trapped within my own head....

No completion, no commitment....

Simple illusion.... within my head.....

What I wanted, needed I see.....

Some one who could help me to grow.....

But would She is but a simple question......

Afraid of being hurt....

Used, abused.......

Burden of my own consumption  of a non completed life.....

The desire to be completed, full filled....

What I have to offer is but me.....

A man who has been through much.......

A man who has stepped on the echoes of war to many times.....

A man who has been lost by the misfortune of time itself....

I am a man of honor, integrity, loyalty, Truth......

I am a man who has love inside not found.....

I am a man who has confidence.....

I am a man who is hungry for the completeness all human beings deserve.....

Complex, driven.....

Offering of more then what is scratched on the surface.....

A kiss is not just a kiss, it tells the soul.

An embrace shared by two....

Just pacing around....

Lost in my thoughts.....

Wondering of her........

Wondering of me.....
