Long Lost Demon

Nocturnal enigmas spin a funnel labyrinth

Toward alternative dominion of turpitude

As I tease the keys of my ruptured piano and anticipate

That soon hallucination liberates me from myself

But maybe it is too late

For I am a spider under reality’s heel

I am but a long lost demon

In a parade of perdition

I'm not entirely sure what to make of this poem. Though to me it seems as if the speaker is finally accepting what and who they are and the darkness that lives with in them. I am not entirely sure if I am right but this was a interesting poem to read.

I feel like this poem describes giving up to a demon within oneself. We all have them and this just shows that they exist within them.

:-) I suppose this will have to suffice as my second rating of 100 regarding your work.

Interesting. Makes me wanna go inside the poet's mind. I love the depth of the piece. It's gothic style added appeal. It even made me read it a few times more.
Nice work.

I can't for the life of me tell you why, but this has a very erotic taste to it!
