Bloody love

Bloody love

A Story by Raven Starhawk

Bruises flare as pulled hair litters stained tiles.  Under rage's glare judgment feeds a suspicious mind and innocence suffer at heartless hands.  Under the light of a full moon madness swells in fog; births secrets and lies.

His knife is clutched in a gloved hand.  Gazing down at the body he shivers.  Love had once brought them together.  Now jealousy yanks them apart, but death does not have to be the end.

Shadows splash across the floor.  A moment passes before the glint of steel flashes on the wall.  Lights grow ever dimmer.  His life pours in spurts from the smile he carved in his own throat.  Forever they spend together now side by side.  Life was nothing but a hand full of thorns.  Death simply plucked them away.

Horror fragments play with hell's demons.  Information stews in wasting flesh piles while metal muscle laced hooks gleam brilliantly under ghostly corridors and time crawls to a stop.

Finishing the puzzle will make nightmares vanish.  So the fingers of babes work feverishly.  The moment of atonement is as hand and those who oppose truth burn in tragedy.  The marks foretell destiny's bliss and as God becomes another fairytale mankind ceases to exist.
