Breeding Death

Breeding Death

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

Recycled nonsense blooms if only for a moment
in realization's cradle

Though a intriguing creature it commutes failure as each sour breath pollutes

Steps taken are steps lost amongst towering mountains never to be finished

And so begins a tale of dishonesty and despair while routine takes on a daily demand

Days and nights bleed together

Holidays and birthdays come in a never ending supply...
...until mortality settles into another horrendous trend
