Dearly Hated Sister

A poem based on a true case of a family torn apart and a outcast sister who hasn't spoken to her two sisters in many years.

When were the seeds of hate first sown...
       ...utilized to halt communication...
                ...abused and capitalized on?

Isn't life short...
                   ...too short to hold grudges...
               ...too valuable to squander over petty differences?

Isn't family supposed to be about love...
       ...supporting one another through thick and thin...
                           ...forgiving one for mistakes as we are all flawed creatures?
