Presence of Reality

Presence of Reality

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

An ambiance’s fruitlet

A Root to dreams

Decadence among cadence

A course preset

The silhouette of magic

Diluting the truth

3/1/2013

Blood

Beneath

Serrated silver

A ghost’s reflection

In a shattered mirror

Is as she was in life

Dead

What drama, what power. These are words to cringe to, to wonder at. Sometimes you convert words into something invisitble but felt, deep deep inside. To me this seems less of death, more a transition. Stay safe, please.

oh my goodness! This is haunting...the ghost of time and reality merging into the painful mirror of reflection. This saddens me. You write with such searing words! This truly grabs my heart! Great write!
