Crimson Diamonds: A Message Written In Blood

Crimson Diamonds: A Message Written In Blood

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

Crimson Diamonds:  A Message Written In Blood

Gleaming under seventy watts of artificial brilliance

Steel’s serrated teeth bite into flesh

(Tick tock goes the clock)

Ivory divides as cherry rivers erupt

(How my modem hums)

Pretty are the diamonds decorating emerald carpet

Such divine ink cannot go to waste

And so I scribe across stucco wall

Goodbye

I like. You strike a very good balance between romanticism and bitterness. It's not too melodramatic and not too stark. I like the blunt ending as well; it seems very fitting. Well done.

Vampire feeding on its prey and red at first then green diamonds. Then the message in red against the stone wall that says one word 'Goodbye' Seriously how do you come up with this stuff. Impressive work.
