Kiss of Death

Kiss of Death

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

Born without wings I can’t fly among heaven’s angels

The Devil’s malicious ties conjoins me with paranoia

And as doom suspects another omen

I am drowning in the ceaseless hell of my mind

As mistrust guides this chaotic heart to insanity

And I embrace the kiss of death
