Seduced By Malice

Seduced By Malice

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

I look out my window and all I see

Are shadows mocking me

With malice burning in their eyes

And words spilling forth in the form of lies

A part of me wants to die

Because life is a bittersweet joke

That spells disaster at every turn

But then I realize all my foes

Who despise my writing

Who loathe how I look

Might get great satisfaction

From my death

And the last thing I want to do

Is give grace to fiends bold and true

Because I will continue on

Even after they are gone

life is worth living for many reasons. You have captured one emotion in a nice write:)

You did well of portraying the speakers feelings of malice, anger, and hatred towards the enemies. The satisfaction of not giving in because you will not give them the satisfaction of getting under your skin. Good work
