Never Regret The Good Times

Never Regret The Good Times

A Poem by Rave

When you left you took the good times with you. I might as well go to. Because if I stay here, I'll only be missing you. i can't bear to be without you, now I only see you in the pictures you left behind. Its hard for me to believe, we'll be together again someday. I count down every second, I'm missing you everyday. I love you more than anything, I wish you only knew. That love you put in me, that love you told me will conquer anything? Will it conquer time? My heart is aching and hurting and calling out your name. I cry out in vain your name and you tell me when you get back you'll clear my tears away once more. Now I miss you seven times more. But will you be coming back? Only you know. But where did you go?

You left yourself. Changed who you were to impress someone. And I made you leave. I told you to leave until you came back as who you really were. And you asked me, "What if you don't like the real me?" I told you that if I didn't I would learn to love the real you.

but here is the thing. I don't miss you, I miss the person I thought you were and I don't regret you.

The poem has real emotion and it shows. If you made it a bit more aesthetically streamlined (add formatting, line spacing, sentence structure) I think it would be even better. It's a start.
