A wonderful gift to be a good student
Learning voluminously all time
Discovering new heights around us

Voraciously eager to know more about
Compiling with miraculous books
While our teacher guides us constantly

With love and regards he explains
Mysteries of unknown worlds far away
The vast space that still to be discovered

Showing all things before it happens
Preparing a smooth way to success
In getting salvation and knowing God

With proper respect and regards
We make him our divine guide
A strong well-wisher burning for us

Being burnt constantly under witches'oil
He shows us the light of knowledge
Leading lives with measureless heights

If we really want great things happen
We should respect his day long task
And yeild ourselves to him for success

I too am a teacher and it is nice to see something written that praises the work we do. We are condemned too often for all the ills of society. It does take a village to raise a child but a dedicated teacher can stay with you a lifetime.

Wow! That's a great wonder to be the same . Yes. I do confess teachers are blamed for the ills of society. On the they do not give them the prpper right to mould the students intrupting tgeir task. But these days this profession is also at stake. Government has imposed so many rules and regulations on the teachers and also teachers have been losing their place in the society. This post is now no longer being very well respected these days. RTI has restricted teachers for all types of punishments. So these days students have become ill-mannered and most free being nothing to do as has been guided them. It is only passing time in government schools for students and if we may conclude they go to school only for searching laisure. So also treachers are being of the same mentality...
