College

Another rant, this time about higher education.

College works out just fine for some people 

I, for one, can live without it 

I didn't even graduate from high school, which suits me just fine 

Don't get me wrong 

College is a great con game, pulled off by some of the greatest artists in the trade (because, let's face it: if you can trick someone into giving you their money, then you've earned it, simply by being clever and on your toes; in fact, I'm pretty sure that alot of con artists don't even go to college)

Anywho 

For the most part, college is a place where people get the almighty Diploma, and therefore have "earned" the almighty Good Job 

So it's too bad that most college graduates don't carry with them the almighty Happiness that would be expected of such a Social Status as having the Almighty Diploma-Required Job 

However, that won't stop most of these people from rubbing it into what they see as Your Loser Face 

They love to (sublty, sublty) rub their Amazing Salaries into your Crummy Little Face 

Because they got Such-and-Such a Degree at Such-and-Such University, where they studied how to type on a computer, or how to teach a class-full of ninth-grade s**t-heads (who are too preoccupied with sex and weed to even give a f**k) about geometry 

So many of these f*****g college brats have the most pointless jobs in existence, yet they yammer on about them constantly, like it's their due to make you feel like s**t for NOT GOING TO COLLEGE 

And yet, who fixes their pipes when they burst, or freeze over during the winter? 

Who keeps the oil running into their homes to keep them warm? 

Who fixes their f*****g flat-screen TVs? 

Who rotates their tires? 

Who fixes their windows when they break? 

Who tars their roofs? 

Who mows their lawns (if they're rich enough to hire landscapers)? 

Who cooks their food, or washes their dishes? 

Non-college grads, that's who 

These are people who know the World for what it is, and they face it head on 

THESE are the people they should be learning from 

But when they're depressed, when they're dissatisfied with their jobs, their marriages, when their spoiled b*****d kids act up, who do they go to? 

You guessed it: 

The People with the Almighty Diploma

I don't see the point in school. We have one life. We waste half of it learning things that will most likely not help us. We should get jobs when we are young and do the more manual jobs. Well, that's my opinion.

I'm guessing you didn't go to college. Neither did I, but I'm not bitter about it. I never got a teaching certificate, but you won't find a better teacher.
