Melancholy WishboneA Poem by JenessaI wrote this about this sculpture http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we3M1D19DNQ I later sent it to the artist who designed it, Arthur Ganson, he really liked it so he sent it to the band :3
Melancholy wishbone;
Made to walk forever. Something dead and gone away, Inbued inside with fever. Metal and mechanical; Where blood and flesh once moved, Wanting just to stop at last, Denied, it's right to stay removed. The other bones laid to rest, Poor wishbone wished to die, But made of wheels and needful things, Could never stop walking by. A march through time unabated; Through tragedy and decay, Lacking purpose or design, Never allowed to waste away. © 2012 Jenessa |
