Illusions

Illusions

A Poem by A wright

Some things I see or hear seem so real until I realize they aren't there,
Am I going crazy? No I don't think so,
I'm just realizing that I'm starting to let my illusions interfere with my reality,
They're just figments of my imagination,
Things I see or hear when I let myself go to that "happy place" that I so very often find myself in,
When it's quiet I lay there, close my eyes and just drift away,
My imagination stricken by no limits at that point
In this place, so unknown to others,
Everything is great,life is perfect,and I couldn't be happier,
Until I open my eyes and come back to the realization that it was all just an illusion.

This poem is very creative, yet something most of us can relate to. I love the imagery and mystique this poem has. Great job!
