In the Wind

In the Wind

A Poem by Marlon Ferguson
"

To see, to hear, to think...

"

Somehow, sometimes, something new

Rises up from deep despair

Or joy to catch us unaware.

A fresh, though universal, view.

No borders to confine the code--

No pretense or sensory overload.

Just pure truth, indisputable, my friend.

If you listen, it is In the Wind.

Someway, somewhere, someone bold

Materializes from thin air

Or angst, and teaches us to care.

A deep, but serendipic soul.

No glitter to confound the eye--

No stardust or pipedreams floating by.

Just pure love, indescribable, my friend.

If you follow, it is In the Wind.

Someday, somebody, somewhat strange,

A spirit with a nom de guerre

Or nom de plume, will choose to share

A bright, decisive, free exchange.

No rumor to distort the facts--

No innuendos to relax.

Just pure art, inimitable, my friend.

If you wonder, it is In the Wind.
