Ice heartA Poem by Saurian GuardianA poem about me before and after meeting SharayaIce heart,
snakes tongue Standing
here when all is done Is I alone
a broken man Having done
all I can
Story
written, book closed The ink
gone dry no longer flows Broken hero
I am who is dead inside Falls down
to his knees and waits to die
Scarred body,
blank mind For too
long no love felt by thine Ready for
the end one who has no more fight Slowly I’m
engulfed by night
Bleeding
heart, stitched soul Seems
unweaving, open holes Running
dry, rivers red Am now I
who’s left for dead
Brilliant
beauty, blinding light Descending
angel clad in white Are you my
love, saving grace To wipe the
tears off of my face © 2012 Saurian GuardianReviews
