My Life

A Poem by [untitled]
"

I Wish I Had Known You

"

You are a loving heart, your spirit so real, touching every part of my life. So gentle are your ways, I’m moved to humbleness.

I wish I had known you from the beginning of my life, now that I have known you; I come to realize, the emptiness inside

Oh, how I ache to live just a few more years, yearning to live by your side, absorbing your loving kindness and drink from your well of love.

I wish, I had known you from the beginning of my days. Oh, how I long to embrace you, to feel your feminine strength that moves me.

Your heart so tender, mine heart surrenders; I have never known a love like yours. Oh how I wish, I had known you from the beginning of my life

Ahh yes, that feminine strength that withers our masculine posturing. I sense your awe when confronted with love. Even in joy and contentment, sadness can remain.
