A Brilliant Light

A Brilliant Light

A Poem by [untitled]
"

Suddenly Reaching the End

"

A brilliant light fools many

as they make their last journey in life;

everything seems so right

at the end of the tunnel the brightest light.

Suddenly reaching the end

a spirit with cold hands, fear and despair in

obscurity, no one cares no one’s there.

A  brightness you fear to reach,

in great despair you cry out is anyone there;

no one hears, no one cares.

Where is the glowing light that seemed so near,

but now has disappeared? Cold hands, fear and despair,

Soon I will be there.

Death lives in life itself .. death is the beautiful dream.

' Where is the glowing light that seemed so near, / but now has disappeared? / Cold hands, fear and despair, / Soon I will be there. ' - so very sad.

Another wonderful piece of writing.

Excellent write. It shows how people are scared to die.
My favorite stanza was:
"Suddenly reaching the end

a spirit with cold hands, fear and despair in

obscurity, no one cares no one's there."

powerful words.
as many people are, i'm scared of death, but i know there is something better after.

Overall, a well-thought-out poem. Great job! :)
