A Feared Dream

A Feared Dream

A Poem by Robert A. Pacheco
"

This is a re-occuring dream I've always had.. But since I've written this, I've not had that dream. Truely I say to you, writing is medicine.

"

A Feared Dream

As I ran, with nowhere to hide,

My screams unheard, reality defied.

The blackness shrouded me,

Forcing me to flee.

And as the darkness came,

The whole of my body went lame.

I fell into a never-ending abyss,

Thinking of the loved ones I'd miss.

Falling, falling, evermore,

I hit bottom, and awoke, on my bedroom floor.

Writing is, truly, medicinal. Maybe now that you've gotten the dream down in words, your subconcious is free of it.....I am glad for you. Nice poem here...it flowed well :-)
