Peaceful Moments

Peaceful Moments

A Poem by Robert A. Pacheco
"

Another short poem, but this one is one of a peaceful moments.

Peaceful Moments

As I walked through the forest of green,

I heard sounds of a nearby creek, a stream.

The smell of moisture filled the air,

And to hold it back,

I could hardly bare.

I entered the trees on the other side,

there were frogs croaking, and fish swimming,

taking the stream for a ride.

The clear water was cool, it's true,

The next time I go, I'll be taking you too.

I know this is a bit childish.. But it doesn't matter. I wrote this for my little brother when I was nine years old. He was four.

It's sweet... "The next time I go, I'll taking you too." you're missing the be in I'll be taking you too....

I like this poem... It has great imagery in the poem, I bet your little brother loved it! It reminded me of the place my family goes for our family reunions... it has a stream... okay it's deffinatly a river but this poem just brought back all the good times there....

Great Poem! Can't wait to read more!
