Spare a dime?

Spare a dime?

A Poem by Robert A. Pacheco
"

I wrote this for a school poem 2 years ago.. But it's purpose still serves me well. If the world were this helpful, the poverty, the harm, the pain would all go away, and the world would be a better place.

"

SPARE A DIME?

Hey! It's time to care,

So give a child a teddybear.

Watch as they hold it up,

wave it in the air,

At least give a hungry child a pear.

This message is for all of you people out there!

Help an old woman walk up stairs,

Help an old man walk accross the street!

Donate money for a child to eat!

Even help pay for some shoes up on their feet.

This is about the end of my rhyme,

It only takes a bit of your time.

Is it so hard to stop, and spare a dime?

I agree, your message is clear and worthy of admiration. The welfare of the public and passing along kind gestures are top priorities of mine, too. The Karma will come back.

Have a nice day!

I like this little poem. I like the message and I agree with it.
I like rhyming poetry.
This work has a nice rhythm and flow.
Well written if a bit short.
