NothngA Poem by Ranger Kessel
For me there was nothing but the curl of your hair. The way it flopped around anxiously across your forehead. A blonde crescent moon rising and setting across your forehead
I didn't listen. You told me you didn't love me. My lips were in paralysis. I couldn't find them in this jagged miasma I stuttered and said I know. I didn't. . Understand how this could be. Mental snapshots of you scurry around my heart aimlessly looking for home. A blanket in a storm. My flag for you is tattered and worn. Fighting the tide and making my way home. © 2022 Ranger KesselReviews
