SilenceA Poem by Ranger Kessel
Your fragrance of silence lives in me.
Tattooed to my being. I wish I heard longing in your pen. Do you remember? Its invasion. At the park. On a swing. Gum chewing and popsicles. Hop sketch and tag. Blue jean shorts and flip flops. Holding hands and kissing. Dreams of apocalypse in the clouds. Throwing stones and magpies. Nothing of each other. As one. Together. In peace. Forever in silence. I remember. I am still there. © 2022 Ranger KesselReviews
