Tidy Bowl Man

Tidy Bowl Man

A Poem by Ranger Kessel

When I was a kid
I never wanted to leave
The bathtub as it churgled
And gurgled while it drained.

My parents told me its was
The Tidy Bowl Man waiting to
Clean the tub.
.if I wasn't out before it stopped
He would eat me.

Its terrified me.
Today I am welcoming
His visit:(

The tidy bowl man - I've never heard that one before! The things parents will say or do to get their kids out of the bath! Our 5-year-old grandson often stays with us overnight at weekends, and he loves to have a bath. He plays until the water goes cold, and still won't get out until all the water has drained, and then he slides about on the bottom of the bath having great fun, until we say enough is enough and we lift him out! Nice to see him having fun though.
