Hail To The Queen

Hail To The Queen

A Poem by Randy Luckie
"

Elizabeth, denied her rightful crown in youth and then resisted evil seductions and promises from the darkest of evil, raises an army to defeat the prince of darkness.

"

We all bow on bended knee

Before the Queen

Aye, even the King

Twenty thousand, and even more

Standing here

We count the score

    First by land

    And then by sea

Twenty thousand, and even more

Running there

We count the score

   She raised a hand

    To the power that be

Beauty and strength

Forged as one

Across the waves

And up the beach

Through the valley

And around the horn

Rush the fire

And into the breach

Onward she calls

To the army’s feet

Onward she pushes

To the enemy’s defeat

Long live the Queen

Who refuses the crown

Long live Elizabeth

Who threw Evil down
