The First Anniversary Of My Friend's Death

The First Anniversary Of My Friend's Death

A Poem by Randy Johnson
"

DEDICATED TO JOE WEBB (1946-2021) WHO DIED ON APRIL 8, 2021

"
Today is the first anniversary of the death of my friend.
Sadly, on April the 8th of 2021, his life came to an end.
He would give me rides to the grocery store.
I'm sorry to say that he is not alive anymore.
His wife died several years before he did and it was a shame.
He became my neighbor in 1996 and Joe Webb was his name.
When Joe would drink alcoholic beverages, he wouldn't drink and drive.
If everybody was like him, the drunk driving fatalities that occur would end and those victims would remain alive.
Joe and his wife were reunited when he went to Heaven.
Today is the first anniversary of the death of my friend.

A nicely penned rhyming tribute to your friend on the first anniversary of his death. It is hard to lose good friends. My condolences on your loss Randy.
