Trees

Trees

A Poem by Randy Johnson

In some ways, trees are better than mankind and that's the truth.
You may think that is incredibly stupid but I will give you proof.
Trees don't rape women and they don't steal.
Trees don't scam, cheat, commit arson or kill.
In some ways, trees are better than mankind and that's not a stupid statement.
Trees hurt nobody, they are one hundred percent innocent.
Fruit trees provide food that will keep people alive.
Trees provide oxygen so that mankind can survive.
In some ways, trees are better than mankind and that's a statement I will not retract.
If mankind could be as innocent as trees, the world would be better and that's a fact.
