A Father's Revenge

A Father's Revenge

A Poem by Randy Johnson

A man used my daughter and she died.
After he used her, she committed suicide.
He told her that they would get married after he divorced his wife.
When she learned that she had been used for sex, she ended her life.
After he got what he wanted, he said that he had no intentions of getting a divorce.
When the idiot learned what she did, he actually laughed instead of feeling remorse.
My daughter was all that I had and her suicide made me fall apart.
You're looking at a man who got revenge because of a broken heart.
He liked to use women but I made sure that he couldn't do it anymore.
I shot him through the heart when I went to his house with my forty-four.
When I told him on the telephone that I was going to kill him, he said that I didn't have the guts
He won't lie to and deceive other innocent women, I made him permanently keep his mouth shut.
When it came to committing murder, he thought I never could.
I proved him wrong and when I killed him, it made me feel really good.
I didn't get away with it, I'm in prison because of my sin.
I have no regrets, if I had it to do over, I would do it again.
