1978

I want to go to a time when things were great.

I wish that I could travel back in time to 1978.

I'd like to revisit the seventies because I loved that decade.

Back then, 8 Track tapes and records were still being played.

Songs were clean back then, now they're littered with the F word.

In 1978, music meant something and vulgarity wasn't what we heard.

40 years ago, we had no smart phones and no High Definition TV.

But landline phones and standard definition are just fine with me.

video games sucked back then but I could live with an Atari.

If I could revisit 1978, I don't think that I would be sorry.

A great year...the year my son was born! Things were simpler then...or so it seemed. You are right, music did not have four letter words in it and we did not have cell phones...which meant we had more serenity. Ah, to have a time machine. Lydi**

1978 your preference, mine would be late sixties. Wonderful music, a feeling of excitement in fashion, theatre, film, culture. Swinging sixties in London. What I'd do to relive that. And what Jacob says, less technology would be fine by me.

i want to go back to the 60's----
lots going on then in the country...but also i lived through the 50's---seemed a simpler time back then...
and we got along just fine without all the technology.
